Science brain
Time to get the science brain in gear to see if writing proposals is my thing. It looks good though - so many interesting projects and seeing the impact they could have.

Writing for Radio
I've always listened to the radio and will listen to drama above music. Even now Radio 4Extra is on. It's a wonderful resource for a writer, but, as independent producer/director Cherry Cookson said, not that easy to get work taken on. So tell me something I don't know.

Short story - but it isn't when you have to write it.
Slogging away at my series of short stories, Surrey-on-the-Moon. I've really enjoyed the characters and how they interact, who lives who dies, who has secrets, who is not what they seem. Now it's time to put the ingredients in and start stirring.

Stargazing Live
Following the brilliant Stargazing Live, I stare up with renewed wonder at the night sky. Orion being my 'check in' constellation. The moon is high in my thoughts too and I look for the Sea of Crises, where Arthur C. Clarke set his short story, The Sentinel, the forerunner of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
